English name: plant Oleic acid
Physical and chemical properties: it is light yellow transparent oily liquid under normal temperature; insoluble in water; soluble in organic solvents, such as, ethyl alcohol and gasoline.
Uses: it is widely applied in plasticizer, engineering plastic, synthetic fiber, nylon 8, nylon 9, synthetic detergent, oil paint, printing ink, carbon paper. It is also used as emulsifying agent of synthetic pesticide, mineral flotation agent and release agent.
